CMS to Host Change to Section 111 Workers’ Compensation Reporting Webinar on November 13

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will be hosting a Change to Section 111 Workers’ Compensation Reporting webinar on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 1:00 pm ET.

The webinar will focus on the expansion of Section 111 Non-Group Health Plan (NGHP) Total Payment Obligation to Claimant (TPOC) reporting to include Workers’ Compensation Medicare Set-Aside (WCMSA) information. As this expansion impacts reporting of WCMSAs, CMS strongly recommends that Responsible Reporting Entities (RREs) who report Workers’ Compensation settlements attend.

They will kick off the webinar with opening remarks by CMS staff, followed by a presentation that will include background information and timelines, and close out the session with a question and answer period.
